Paris! I've only been here for 10 hours and I've already eaten two crepes, a chocolate croissant, gone to a museum with Monet, Picasso, and Renoir, watched the sun set behind the Eiffel tower, and seen 86 couples engage in PDA. I guess I might as well just come home now...really, what else is there to do in France?

The apartment I'm staying in is incredible. We can see Notre Dame from the huge balcony and I have my own room with a queen-sized bed (what I would do for a room like this at Middlebury). Speaking of bed, I'm exhausted. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to post all of my brilliant thoughts on French culture. À demain!

What's in a Title?

Picking a title for anything is stressful. Professors always want witty titles for papers (unless you're a biology or chemistry major in which case you're supposed to be as boring as possible). Movies, books, songs... people are only interested if you stick a cool title at the top. Infomercials have this down. How are you supposed to resist the new fitness craze sweeping the nation when its called the Kettlenetics Kettlebell? And let's not leave out blogs. Everyone has lots of friends studying abroad right now and the cool new thing is to keep a blog. It's way to much work to read them all, so you have to pick. Here is where "base jumping" comes in. Do I plan on doing any such thing? Of course not, don't be ridiculous. It's a simple ploy to get you to read my blog. And it's working (kind of like that new Britney Spears song, "If you seek amy").
